Alexandria Company for Vegetable Oils Extraction (S.A.E) has been a major oilseeds processor in the MENA region for over 20 years, operating a state-of-the-art production facility located in the heart of the Borg El-Arab industrial zone, Alexandria – Egypt.

The company is recognized by businesses and consumers alike as a trusted manufacturer and supplier of high-quality oilseed products, including Soya meal (Hi-Pro and Lo-Pro), soybean oil (crude degummed, semi-refined, and fully refined), and Soy Lecithin. Additionally, Alexandria Co. has a strong presence in the FMCG market with three soybean oil brands—Shatara, Karameesh, and others—each catering to distinct customer segments.

In 2017, Alexandria Co. pioneered an initiative to cultivate sunflower seeds in Egyptian fields, processing them in its own facilities, and creating a fully integrated operation—from cultivation and extraction to refining and packaging. This initiative has solidified its position as a key player in the market.

With 260 highly skilled employees, Alexandria Co. has further expanded its capabilities through its sister company, EGUS, to support its vision and sustain its leadership in the industry.
